| WESLEY JONES I was born in Delaware attended St.
Mark's High School. I went on to attend Salisbury State
University in Maryland obtaining a Bachelor of Science in
Social Work. After my undergraduate work, I was accepted
Widener University Advanced Standing School of Clinical Social Work
Program where I received Master of Social Work (MSW).
For the past seven years I have been dividing my time working
for Chrisitana Care/Visiting Nurse Association in school-based
wellness center and Delaware Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association.
The counseling program at Delaware Park has evolved over the past
few years into an employee assistance program offering counseling,
substance-free housing, screening and social services.
I currently serve as Secretary of the Winners Federation.
This organization facilitates communication among caregivers,
researchers and industry members. The Winners Federation
serves as a clearinghouse for information on health, safety and
human service issues within the racing industry. It also
advocates for drug-free workplaces and for expanded employee
assistance programs on all North American tracks and training
centers. |
